Dyeing: Learn to Hand Dye Yarn Workshop
This course will teach basic colour theory and how ratio's of primary colours affect colours. Students will create between 15-21 different colours using 3 primary colours.  Students will learn how different types of dyes will produce different colour variations. Colour samples will be shared with everyone in the class so that students can leave with colour samples from different dye companies. Students will dye a skein of yarn using their newly created colours in a kettle bath technique. Come and learn with Jane of 3dogknits about the dyeing process and how to create your own amazing colours. 

Please Note: This class is limited to 10 students.

Materials Required: Rubber gloves, plastic bags (to carry wet fibre home), an apron or clothing cover and an old towel(s) to sop up extra dye.
We will be supplying you with the dyes and 1 skein of sock yarn.
*Additional yarn will be available for purchase.
Prerequisites: Ability to work with wool and dye.

Cost: $125 (includes dye and yarn)  *You will need to bring rubber gloves, plastic bags, apron and an old towel.
Time: 3.5 Hours
