Adding colour to your knitting is a joy.  This class will give an overview of the different methods of using colour in your project from intarsia, to fair isle/stranding to duplicate stitch.  You will learn how to join a new colour, catch floats, read charts and twist your strands.  

Class 1 - reading charts, duplicate stitch, begin fair isle swatch
Class 2 - work intarsia swatch

Teacher: Chelsea
Materials Required: One pair of knitting needles size US 6-8 (4.0 mm - 5.0 mm). Three worsted weight yarns in contrasting colours (1 light colour + 2 contrasting colours). One blunt tapestry needle. One pre-knit swatch (instructions to be given upon class enrolment).
*Materials can be purchased from Spun at 10% OFF the regular price, before/after class, based on the teacher's recommendations.
Prerequisites: Must be an intermediate knitter (or advanced-beginner), and comfortable with skills such as casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, and binding off.

Cost: $60 + materials
Time: 3 Hours over 2 weeks
Dates: Wednesdays - May 17 and 24 (12:00 - 1:30pm)
